Position Summary


As a Virtual Teller at Neighbors FCU, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional and efficient service to our credit union members who interact with us through our branch locations. You are the face of the credit union and must possess a general understanding of credit union processes, products, and services. Your role involves educating members about all available service channels and referring them to other branch employees or departments when necessary. Supporting our sales and service culture is a vital part of your responsibilities.

Essential Functions

  • Greet every member promptly through the Interactive Teller Machine, meeting established service goals.
  • Represent the credit union with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Process various teller transactions, including withdrawals, deposits, payments, and other transactions based on member needs.
  • Accurately balance transactions on multiple platforms daily, ensuring a seamless member interaction.
  • Provide one-touch resolution for member inquiries consistently.
  • Build rapport and relationships with members through virtual interactions.
  • Offer comprehensive knowledge of credit union products, services, quality standards, controls, security procedures, and compliance regulations.
  • Provide information and referrals to members seeking other services such as Enterprise, investments, mortgages, and commercial services.
  • Collaborate with branch staff to serve members effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with Bank Secrecy Act regulations relevant to this position.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent (college degree or some college coursework completed preferred).

Minimum of two years’ experience in a credit union or other financial institution preferred, with a strong emphasis on sales and service.

Must be flexible to work different shifts.
