Essential Job Functions

As a Mortgage Loan Processor at RIGHT NOW MORTGAGE – VELOCITY PROCESSING COMPANY, you will be responsible for various essential tasks related to loan processing. Here are the key functions:

• Prepare loan files by reviewing loan applications, disclosing the loan, and obtaining documentation from 3rd party service providers.
• Review purchase contracts.
• Obtain UPS address verification.
• Complete “order outs” for various services, including but not limited to:
  • Appraisal
  • Title Report/CPL/Tax Cert/Wire Instructions/Preliminary Fee Sheet
  • Flood Cert
  • Tax Transcripts
  • Condo Documents
• Run Mortgage Insurance Quotes and AUS (Automated Underwriting System).
• Obtain FHA case numbers, CAIVRS (Credit Alert Interactive Voice Response System), borrower validation, or VA case assignments.
• Place orders for all required services during file setup.
• Submit loans to Lenders.
• Follow up on ordered items to ensure they are received in a timely manner.
• Run daily reports to track missing ordered documents.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with internal staff and 3rd party vendors.
• Assist the Manager in recruiting Loan Originators.

Pay: $3,200.00 – $6,950.00 per month

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Fair Housing Regulations: 5 years (Preferred)
• Loan Processing: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• NMLS Licensed in Texas (Preferred)
