Summary
The Collections Specialist at Cardone Ventures plays a pivotal role in processing new sales orders, creating payment plans in the A/R system, and efficiently collecting outstanding accounts receivable balances from our existing client base. This role involves managing the AR inbox, resolving customer billing issues, and reducing accounts receivable delinquency.

Objectives
- Monitor the AR email inbox throughout the workday for new sales orders and process them accordingly.
- Respond to AR inbox inquiries related to client accounts, invoice requests, and more.
- Post daily payments received in Invoiced.com.
- Compile daily deposits from bank reconciliation and post them in QBO (Quickbooks Online).
- Follow up with clients regarding any declined payment transactions.
- Review open accounts for collection efforts.
- Make outbound collection calls professionally, aiming to maintain and enhance customer relationships.
- Resolve client billing problems and address accounts receivable delinquency while providing exceptional customer service in a timely manner.
- Collect customer payments in accordance with due dates.
- Identify issues contributing to account delinquency and discuss them with the Accounting Manager and Controller.
- Review and monitor assigned accounts and relevant collection reports.
- Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
- Conduct email correspondence with customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
Competencies

- Preferred experience with Invoiced.com and Quickbooks Online.
- Ability to hold clients accountable for adhering to payment schedules through consistent follow-up.
- Capability to build strong client connections through exceptional customer service.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Creativity, self-discipline, and the ability to identify and complete critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of corporate collections experience, including interaction with a large customer base.
- Experience with Quickbooks (Web & Desktop).
- Collections: 1 year (Preferred)
- NetSuite: 1 year (Preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk or computer.
